Fulham versus. Arsenal: Final score 0-1, sendings off galore in Gunners get - SB Nation

David Sidwell, clean off a three-match bar, acquired another for herself, supporting Arsenal to victory. For 12 minutes, Arsenal had most of the person while Fulham attemptedto play on the table, as expected. Then Steve Sidwell got himself sent off, which did just make Saturday's contest an even more extreme version of the fit it already was. Collection did very little using their possession and Fulham failed to complete their displays, nevertheless the Gunners did take advantage of just one possibility in a 1-0 win. Sidwell, who recently served a three-match bar, were able to grab another for herself with a reckless tackle on Mikel Arteta. He went over the ball and planted his men in to Arteta's leg, leaving Andre Marriner no choice but showing a right red. That just made Arsenal more reckless and changed the game almost no, giving Fulham more room to counter into. Fulham had a pair of great chances in the first half that they probably must have done a little better with, though Wojciech Szczesny deserves credit for a pair of solid saves. Urby Emmanuelson setup Dimitar Berbatov at the end of a counter in the 20th second, but Szczesny got across well to make a preserve at the post. The Arsenal owner came up big again later in the half, stopping a similar shot by Emmanuelson. Olivier Giroud had a great opportunity to put Arsenal up in the moment when he beat his defense with a turn and aimed a at the post, however it bounced off the upright and away for a goal kick. Luckily for him, the Gunners would not find yourself regretting that miss much. In the moment, Laurent Koscielny lost his sign on a totally free kick and nodded back throughout the face of goal. Per Mertesacker envisioned well and poked in an end to send Arsenal in to the locker room up 1-0. The second half was extremely uneventful, as Arsenal seemed relatively content to sit on their guide. With Arteta and Aaron Ramsey pushing forward less, there clearly was less room for Fulham to counter into. Jack Wilshere and Lukas Podolski entered the game in the minute, though they'd minimal impact. There was a little of late drama, with Giroud picking up a card in the 90th minute for challenging similar to Sidwell's earlier in the day in the game. Fulham had a pair of sides and a couple of other dangerous crosses in to the box in stoppage time, but Arsenal cleared these away, waiting on hold for three factors.
