UFC on Fox 7 Results: The True Winners and Losers from Henderson versus. Melendez

Benson Henderson could be the UFC's new master of dispute. Not for such a thing he's said or done beyond your cage, but for his tendency to separate the judges and the crowd by the end of five long times. For the second time in three fights, Henderson was the lucky beneficiary of a split-decision success, this time over Gilbert Melendez before Melendez's furious home-town crowd. Henderson again displayed some interesting problems, including a jab to the leg, standing heel kicks and a nice guide left elbow. Melendez did better with the bread-and-butter stuff, pursuing the champion with straight punches and the occasional spearing leg to the body. Since the bell rang, both competitors raised their hands in the air, both confident your day was theirs. But, ultimately, there may be only one. It absolutely was an card from top to bottom, filled with amazing twists and turns for most of five hours. Henderson, needless to say, wasn't the only real winner. In mixed fighting styles, unlike most activities, there is a substantial leisure factor at play. A fighter can win a bout on the scorecards and lose in the eyes of matchmakers and supporters with a dull performance. Furthermore, the official loser may get ultimately with an exciting and valiant showing. Press on for the real winners and losers from UFC on FOX 7.
