Congratulations Louisville... what's next?

ATLANTA (AP) a' The past notice of "One Shining Moment" had yet to reach individuals in the inexpensive seats at the Georgia Dome when college baseball began doing what it does so well a' looking forward to next time. Louisville's 82-76 victory over Michigan on Monday night will probably decrease as one of the greatest national championship games. Cardinals coach Rick Pitino won his 2nd name, one other coming at hated in-state competitor Kentucky in 1996, to cover an incredible time that started with him being elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. But enough reminiscing. What's 2013-14 likely to bring? Change will be the key phrase, with a number of schools going from conference to some other. Louisville is likely to be among those, planning from the Big East, which the Cardinals won the last two months, to the American Athletic Conference for one season before heading to the Atlantic Coast Conference the season next. It'll be a trick to help keep tabs on it all. When all we worried about was which people were coming back? and remember Well we still will, especially with Louisville and Michigan having therefore many quality young players. The Wolverines were the youngest team in the NCAA tournament area of 68, and Louisville had one senior (these are people who remain in school four years) in its rotation. Within minutes of the gut-wrenching loss in Michigan's first national championship game in twenty years, the questions started about returning to college or applying for early entry for the NBA draft. "Right now I will be back," said Michigan newcomer forward Glenn Robinson III, whose father left Purdue a year early to start a long NBA career. "We'll talk about that whenever I must nevertheless, you know this isn't enough time to talk about that today. It's about every one of these guys in their hearts that were played by the locker room out tonight." Sophomore guard Trey Burke, The Associated Press' national player of the entire year, experienced exactly the same attention. "Honestly I am maybe not considering it right now," he explained. "This sport hurts so much, that is something that I'll only talk over with my teaching staff, my parents actually over the following number of weeks. A decision will be made by me from there. "Thanks for being involved. It's not on my mind at this time really." Because the Cardinals had items of net inside their hats did not mean they would avoid the problem. "I want to encourage all my people to place their name in the draft, only get the knowledge of checking out, whether they take action or not, not get an agent," Pitino said. "Guys like Russ (Smith), Chane (Behanan), Gorgui (Dieng). I'd like the experience to be learnt by them. Probably two of them should come back, one might go. They deserve the experience the amount they worked." With the dismissal of Rutgers instructor Mike Rice, after videotapes of methods were introduced where he shoved and threw basketballs at players, Final Four weekend was relatively free of training conflict. "Coach (John) Beilein, he's an excellent coach," said Michigan newcomer Spike Albrecht who'd a first half against Louisville. "He works harder than anybody I have ever seen to obtain you ready for games, to prepare you, whether it is film or scouting report, any one of that. "The reason why I regard Coach Beilein so much is he's a better person. That says a whole lot about him." There have now been about 30 training changes for next year. If the average is struck there will nevertheless be yet another 15 to 20 moves. Pitino and Beilein will not be among them. And moments after Michigan beat Syracuse, 68-year-old Orange mentor Jim Boeheim testily told a reporter that he plans to be right back. "My tenure in training, I've never seen, the total amount of activities I coached in this match, I have never seen such elegance from the guys on the sidelines that I coached against," Pitino said. "Some of the people, like Dana (Altman) from Oregon, Larry Eustachy (of Colorado State), from our first game (New York) A&T (coach Cy Alexander), today the coach was phenomenal, phenomenal. I have never existed this kind of coaching quality in my own coaching stint. I'm happy to be part of this fraternity." Beilein was ready to speak about the long run. "We looked over the plan. We've two months till examinations, meaning I do believe we have about two or four hours of training we can even enter. We'll probably use that," said Beilein who had been in his first Final Four. "No, I think that we'll exercise later on this week only those two hours I think is all we are able to get. I would perhaps not be surprised if our seniors come by and wish to help the young people. .".. I question if we'll be doing any such thing tomorrow. But perhaps Wednesday or Thursday we'll do something. We'll all go out there and we can not wait to coach them again." And college basketball fans can not wait to share them again.
