Real Zaragoza vs. Real Madrid: 5 Things We Learned - Bleacher Report

Real Zaragoza and Real Madrid faced each other in the Estadio La Romareda with high hopes. Real Zaragoza hoped to avoid relegation in La Liga.

Real Madrid wanted to advance in the 2012-13 La Liga BBVA table. In the end, each team scored one goal on their way to a draw.

The results left FC Barcelona with a big lead in the current La Liga season. Real Zaragoza appear to have avoided relegation at the present time.

Real Madrid forward Jose Callejon did not impress in this match. According to Goal.com, he was out of touch in the play with his teammates.

Diego Lopez and Roberto were excellent as goalkeepers for their respective teams. In spite of their teams scoring one goal each, they were able to block further attempts at scoring.

While it is easy to underestimate teams threatened with relegation, the opposite must be the rule. Real Zaragoza striker Rodri stunned Real Madrid with a goal in the sixth minute.

Rodri took advantage of Real Madrid midfielder Lukas Modric's poor performance. The result left Real Madrid attempting to recover lost territory until Ronaldo equalized.

Kaka was the flop of the match, according to Goal.com. He was unable to play coherently in the presence of the Zaragoza defense.

Kaka appeared so disorganized that Sami Khedira replaced him in the second half. Maybe it's time for Kaka to find another club during the next transfer window.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equalizing goal that saved Real Madrid from possible defeat. Real Madrid were surprised in the first half with an early goal from Real Zaragoza midfielder Rodri.

Ronaldo took advantage of a weak Zaragoza defense to score with a shot from his left foot. He surprised Zaragoza goalkeeper Roberto Gago in the process.
