Spearing handed clean bill of health ahead of Leicester City battle

On Saturday, as Bolton Wanderers got on Bristol City at Ashton Gate, Jay Spearing was forced to leave the match by having an injury. Right before the halftime break, the on-loan midfielder hobbled off having an apparent base injury and he was easily changed by Medo Kamara for the remaining 45+ minutes. Fears grew when a photo later appeared of Spearing carrying a boot on his foot. Luckily, Dougie Freedman says that Jay will soon be fit for tomorrow's match at Leicester City. The Trotters happen to be the King Power Stadium to manage the Foxes in what'll be a conflict for playoff hopefuls. Dougie established the above to the Bolton News: "Jay has received a bruised claw for a number of days and it is maybe not sore at all when he is got a set of flip-flops on but with these expensive new shoes they've these days that squash it, he got a and it was sore. "I think he'll be great for Tuesday, it had been only very uncomfortable for him. But I thought Medo was great when he stepped in." Spearing has been certainly one of Bolton's most constant performers this season and has shown to be considered a stone in safety. He's been one of the essential parts in Wanderers' late-season transformation. As a precaution, Bolton supporters could very well see Medo begin in place of Spearing on Tuesday. Nevertheless, having observed him all year, it's difficult to believe that a bruised toe would keep carefully the combative midfielder out of such a vital match.
