Michigan State Recruit Jay Harris Revolves Down Scholarship to Pursue Rap Career.

Whenever a recruit is offered some sort of scholarship to play university or college sports, coaches usually must worry about competing institutions, family, girlfriends, playing time and spot being potential pitfalls to signing younger that could help the course.

2013 Michigan Status recruit Jay Harris, ranked by 247Sports for a 3-star wide receiver, has thought i would forgo a college-football vocation and follow his dream inside the hip-hop industry instead.

Truly one of a oddest decisions we've ever seen with respect to the high-school-to-college jump. But, in case you listen to the young man explain his decision to Matt Breen of the Philadelphia Inquirer, it's something that has got really been weighing on his heart for a long time:

I've been thinking about doing this for a few years now... I try to benefit from every opportunity I obtain and for him to be able to like my music and reach it to me, I really appreciated this. I've always had this in the back of my head, but never had the courage to know my parents that precisely what I want to accomplish.

According to the post, Harris' mixtape is specify to drop in 06 and he'll be working together with a professional recording artist come july 1st, instead of heading to help East Lansing in prep for Mark D'Antonio's upcoming football season.

He's now released a YouTube video—under a name Jay DatBull—that comes with over 50, 000 perspectives, and is entitled, "DatBull 5 Life". Warning: Video NSFW (not suited to work).

Harris originally convinced of the Spartans on state signing day (Feb. 6), but called his original commitment with the program "halfhearted", per Breen's element. His decision has started some serious Twitter discourse, including that of B/R's possess Randy Chambers and Ellie Felder, and The B1G Time frame MSU (via Twitter):

The 5'11", 175-pound recipient had 48 receptions meant for 698 yards and 12 touchdowns past season. He scored 15 whole touchdowns. Harris was expected to help bolster a Spartans recruiting class seeking help in the wideout department.

Operating mainly out in the slot, Harris was a playmaker for Downingtown East Secondary school, posing a mismatch problem for linebackers with the air and victimizing corners in the open field with some questionable moves.
