Game Day Preview: Maple Leafs @ Jets

Thanks to improved goaltending from James Reimer and Ben Scrivens and the current offensive surge of 22-year-old forwardANazem Kadri (6 goals, 1 help in his last five games) the Leafs are sticking around in the thick of playoff battle at the midway point with this abbreviated 2013 period. The Leafs donat have the greatest roster in the National Hockey League but they have followed a technique under Head Coach Randy Carlyle, now in his first full time as seat boss. Carlyle, along side personnel Scott Gordon and Greg Cronin, have the Leafs playing an extremely ambitious type of baseball and it's been working. Yes, Winnipeggers Colton Orr and Frazer McLaren have brought some good old fashioned strength to Toronto however the Leafs line-up is packed with role players, if it isAJay McLement, Clarke Macarthur and Leo KhomarovA on forward or Mark Fraser and Michael Kostka on protection. For the Jets, the one thing that matters tonight is earning a clean two factors in the home. The Jets have gained only four games to date this year at home, simply not appropriate for a team that prides itself on its fans and out of stock building.
