Ibrahim Afellay is allegedly once again a target for Arsenal and Liverpool. The Barcelona forward is currently on a season-long mortgage at Schalke and studies at the end of this past year proposed Barca were willing to let the Bundesliga outfit sign him for A8million at the end of the period. But Schalke sporting manager Horst Heldt has unveiled the team arenat trying to make his mortgage deal a permanent one, and according to talkSPORT, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham - who'd all been keen on signing the Netherlands international last summer - can fix their curiosity about the 26-year-old when the transport screen reopens. Talking back in December, the Dutch midfielder insisted he saw his long-term at Camp Nou. "My purpose is always to return to Barca," Afellay said. "When I think back to my time there, I've only good memories. It was great really. After my harm, I think I have shown that I am in a position to deal with adversity. "Iave evolved not merely with regards to football, but additionally mentally." If the Catalans need Afellay to return to Spain for next period remains to be seen.
