Your day that horse racing fans every where have been awaiting is finally here, as the 139th managing of the Kentucky Derby can take place at Churchill Downs. The winner will immortalize himself in the history of the game, however it is extremely difficult to predict who will cross the final line first. There's a lot of talent through the entire industry in the shape of jockeys, horses and trainers. Progressive has been installed while the favorite until now, but at least 50% of the field has a realistic chance at winning. If all that is not enough, famous interviewer Larry King loves him as well. Pitino is coming off of a national championship gain, so perhaps his hot streak can keep on. Itsmyluckyday In sticking with the bad condition style, Itsmyluckyday is better equipped to competition in dirt than any horse in the area. According to Larry Stumes of the San Francisco Bay Area Chronicle (registration needed), Itsmyluckyday is one of the several horses in the area who has operate on a surface previously.
