Report: Dougie to go set for out-of-contract Palace midfielder Garvan

Based on a written report from the Daily Mail (who, at that time of writing, used a mislabeled picture of Jonathan Williams instead of the one), Bolton Wanderers and Dougie Freedman are very, very interested in Crystal Palace midfielder Owen Garvan. The 25-year-old has been with Crystal Palace for three periods and is going to be out of contract this summer. Garvan, a Republic of Ireland global with U21 caps and targets in his past, has been at Crystal Palace since 2010, when he signed from Ipswich Town for a relatively small cost. In his time at Palace, Garvan has 78 shows for the Eagles in most contests with ten goals to his name. He's a central midfielder that will line up in a far more sophisticated position, comparable to that of Mark Davies. With Davies facing at the very least ten more months out following a knee injury picked up against Peterborough, Bolton are lacking in central attacking alternatives. The Trotters don't have any lack of participants that call the center of the park their house, having employed Medo Kamara, Darren Pratley, Keith Andrews, Josh Vela, and Stu Holden there already in 2013, among other options.
